To apply for a Salary/Pension/Business, customers must have their salary/pension/professional income paid into the account for a minimum amount of €800 per month and those payments must not be currently paid into another Bankinter account. Customers must not have been holders of a Salary/Pension/Business/Non-Salary/Youth Salary account in the 12 months before opening the account and may not have received any remuneration for any of these accounts. To open a Non-Salary account, none of the account holders may have held a Non-Salary/Salary/Pension/Business/Youth Salary account at any time in the 12 months before opening this account and they must not have received any remuneration or return on any such account in the past. Customers may only hold one interest-bearing account and a maximum of two bonus current accounts. For these purposes, a discount-bearing current account means a current account featuring special financial terms and conditions, such as credit cards with no issuance or maintenance fees, or no account maintenance fees. Maximum interest-bearing amount: €5,000. Year 1: nominal annual interest rate of 4.94% (5% AER). Year 2: nominal annual interest rate of 1.99% (2% AER). Interest paid every six months. Example for a daily balance in the Salary Account of €5,000, calculated for an interest payment period of 180 days (gross remuneration): 1st six months €121.81, 2nd six months €121.81, 3rd six months €49.07, 4th six months €49.07. To earn and retain all the benefits of our Salary/Business/Pension, you must maintain your declared level of income and pay at least three direct debits out of the account per quarter. The card linked to the account must also remain active, meaning that it must be used to make at least three payments each quarter. For the Pension Account, activation of the linked credit card is not required. For the Non-Salary account, you must pay at least 10 direct debits per quarter and spend at least €3,000 per year with the card(s) linked to the account.
