If you have already opened your Bankinter account and decide to transfer to it the account you hold in another bank, we will take care of everything.

The first step: become a customer by opening an account. You will not need to talk to your other bank and, of course, the whole process is free:

  • We will carry over your regular income (payroll, pension, etc.) and your direct debits (electricity, telephone, etc.) to your new account.
  • We will set up the automatic transfers you send to other banks, for example to pay your rent.
  • We will cancel your old account and transfer the outstanding balance to your new Bankinter account.

You can do it from any device. In three minutes you will have brought whichever direct debits you want to your new Bankinter account.

If you have already opened your Bankinter account, you can now bring your direct debits.

  • Choose your new Bankinter account, the type of direct debit you want to bring, and a name for it: electricity, gas, school...
  • Attach the bills you want to bring over.
  • Once you sign, we will contact the issuers of the bills to manage their transfer.
