What conditions must I meet to open a Tú y Yo Account?

  • Tú y Yo Account: an account for two holders. Both holders must already have a current account at Bankinter, one of which must be a Salary/Business/Pension/Youth Salary or Non-Salary Account.
  • The Tú y Yo account is non-interest bearing: NIR 0% (APR 0%)
  • You may only hold one Tú y Yo Account, and the Tú y Yo account must always have two holders.
  • Both of you must be individuals living in Spain.

What do I have to do with my direct debits?

Very little. You just have to provide us with a copy of each of them and sign the authorisation document to change the direct debit. The bank will take care of the rest.

Can I withdraw cash with my card?

You can withdraw cash from your account without a fee2 from more than 17.000 ATMs, including those of Bankinter, red Euro 6000, Banco Popular, Grupo Cajas Rurales, Deutsche Bank, Grupo Cajamar, Laboral Kutxa, Banco Pastor, Banca March, Targo Bank and Euro Automatic Cash.

Can I have several accounts Tú y Yo accounts?

No, a customer can only have one Tú y Yo account.
