To open a Bk Youth account you need to be over 18 and under 30 and live in Spain.
You must have a monthly salary of least €500 paid into your account by bank transfer or cheque.
The deadline for paying in your first salary is two months from the date you open your Bk Salary account. Otherwise the account will not be treated as a Bk Salary account and you will lose the benefits, products and services linked to it.
Interest-bearing account with 5% AER the first year and 2% AER the second year, up to a maximum of €3,000. Interest paid every six months.
1Bk Salary Account: Promotion valid until 31 December 2020 or for a maximum of 40,000 new accounts. Exclusively for new customers between 18 and 24 years old with a salary of at least €500. A customer may only be the holder of one interest-bearing account and a maximum of two bonus current accounts. For these purposes, a bonus current account is understood to be a current account subject to special financial conditions such as credit cards without any issuance or maintenance fee and no account fees. The maximum interest-bearing balance is €3,000. First year: nominal annual interest rate of 4.94% (5% AER). Second year: nominal annual interest rate of 1.99% (2% APR). Interest paid every six months. Example for a daily balance in the Salary account of €3,000, calculated for an interest payment period of 180 days, gross return: 1st six months €73.08, 2nd six months €73.08, 3rd six months €29.44, 4th six months €29.44. To access and keep the benefits of our Bk Salary Account, you need to maintain the declared level of income and pay at least three direct debits per quarter. The card linked to the Bk Salary Account must also be active.

The legal basis for fulfilling the purpose set out in the above section will be the processing of the request for information. Therefore, any refusal to supply the personal data requested, or the submission of inaccurate or incomplete data, could therefore render it impossible to provide you with the service. Customers are responsible for ensuring the truthfulness of the data provided, and for notifying Bankinter of any modification thereof.
4. Who will receive your data?
The data provided will not be transferred to third parties, unless there is a legally obligation to do so.
5. For how long will we process your data?
Unless you have stated otherwise, we will keep your data for a period of six months. As soon as they are no longer necessary for the purposes described above, the data will be blocked for the period for which they may be required for carrying out, or defending, administrative or legal actions, and they may only be unblocked and processed again for this purpose. Once this period has elapsed, the data will be cancelled definitively.
6. What are your rights in relation to the processing of your data?
You may exercise your rights at any time to access, rectification, erasure, opposition, restriction of processing and portability of the data in the circumstances and scope established by the applicable legislation currently in force.
