Deposit your pension in the 5% Pension Account
A pension of at least €800 which is consistently deposited. It can be by transfer or by check, not in cash and not from the account holder themselves, and we do accept pension amounts.

Make three charges per deposit per quarter
It is not required that they be different issuers, nor that they occur during the same month. It can be one deposit every month or, for example, three deposits in a single month and then none for the next two months.

Do not delay in depositing your pension
Once you open your Pension Account, you must make the first pension deposit within three months. When that time has elapsed, if you have not made the agreed deposit, then you will lose all of the 5% Pension Account benefits.

What does the two free accounts promotion consist of?
Customers who are holders of a new Salary, Pension, Business, Non-Salary or Youth Salary account are entitled to hold up to two current accounts without a maintenance fee.
What requirements do I have to meet to benefit from this promotion?
Open a new Salary, Pension, Business, Non-Salary or Youth Salary account, whether you are new customer or an existing customer of the Bank.
Is this promotion compatible with all the other benefits of the Salary, Pension, Business, Non-Salary or Youth Salary account?
Yes, they are compatible with the possible remuneration and all the other benefits of the Salary, Pension, Business, Non-Salary or Youth Salary account that qualify for the €0 maintenance fee and free credit card.
What happens if I cancel the account or stop meeting the requirements of the Salary, Pension, Business, Non-Salary or Youth Salary account?
If you cancel the Salary, Pension, Business, Non-Salary or Youth Salary account, the accounts will no longer be treated as bonus accounts. You also need to continue to meet the requirements of the Salary, Pension, Business, Non-Salary or Youth Salary account at all times.
Do the holders of the Salary, Pension, Business, Non-Salary or Youth Salary accounts have to be same as the holders of the current accounts?
No, the only requirement is that the customer is a holder in all of them.
What documents do I need to open my Pension account?
Photocopy of the TIN of the account holder(s).
Photocopy of the last pension payment.
What do I have to do to move my direct debits to my new account?
Very little. You just have to provide us with a copy of each of them and sign the authorisation document to change the direct debit. The bank will take care of the rest. You can do this in any of our branches or using Telephone Banking, by providing us with the data: 91 657 88 00.
Can I withdraw cash with my card?
You can withdraw cash from your account without a fee3 from more than 17,000 ATMs – at all those belong to Bankinter, Grupo Cajas Rurales, Deustche Bank, Grupo Cajamar, Laboral Kutxa, Banca March, Targo Bank, Euro Automatic Cash and Euronet, as well as the entire Euro 6000 ATM network: CajaSur Banco, EVO Bank, CECABANK, Cashzone, Caixa Ontiyent, Liberbank, Liberbank Banco de Castilla-La Mancha, Colonya Caixa Pollença, ABANCA, Ibercaja, Kutxabank, Unicaja and España Duero.
Can I have a cheque book?
Yes, you can request one at no charge.
Can a customer have more than one Pension Account?
Yes, meeting the requirements of both accounts, up to a maximum of two Pension Accounts (enter the holder who receives the payment; a person can only be included in an account as a holder who receives payments) or a Pension Account + a Non-Payroll Account. A customer may only be the holder of one interest-bearing account and a maximum of two bonus current accounts. For these purposes, a bonus current account is understood to be a current account that has special financial conditions such as free credit cards and no fees. This limit will also apply to any other interest-bearing or bonus account, or account with special conditions, that Bankinter may offer in the future.
