Because, from now on, the new regular contributions you make for the first time to investment funds,1 pension plans/EPSVs,2 individual systematic savings plans,3 or shares4 obtain a bonus.5

5% during the first year
- The bonus will be on the net accumulated balance of regular contributions to the product you choose.
- Minimum regular contribution of €50 per month to funds, pension plans/EPSVs or individual systematic savings plans, or alternatively a regular allocation of €250 to buy shares.
- The maximum bonus-bearing balance is 1.000€.
2% during the second year
- The conditions for receiving your bonus in the second year are the same as during the first 12 months. All that changes is the percentage: 2% until the 24 months are completed.
What do you need to do?
Nothing. Or very little: just set up your regular contributions and the promotion will automatically be activated when those contributions are debited to your Bankinter Salary, Business, Pension, Non-Salary, Youth Salary, Tú y Yo, Broker or Current account.

Purpose of the promotion:
With the 5%-2% regular investment promotion, Bankinter S.A. rewards funds invested through regular investments/purchases from an eligible account (Salary Account, Pension Account, Professional Account, Non-salary Account, Youth Salary Account, Tú y Yo Account, Broker Account or Bankinter current account) in investment funds, pension plans, EPSVs, PIASs and equities marketed through Bankinter S.A.
Eligibility requirements
- To enjoy the 5%-2% regular investment promotion, you must have a Salary Account, Pension Account, Professional Account, Non-salary Account, Youth Salary Account, Tú y Yo Account, Broker Account or Bankinter current account and you must not be making or have made any regular investments or purchases from these accounts now or in the last 12 months.
- The promotion is activated when the holder(s) of a Salary Account, Pension Account, Professional Account, Non-salary Account, Youth Salary Account, Tú y Yo Account, Broker Account or Bankinter current account requests a regular investment of at least €50 per month in an investment fund, pension plan, EPSV or PIAS, or regular purchases of €250 of equities per month sold by Bankinter S.A., and this investment or purchase is settled from the reference account.
- The promotion applies exclusively to product lines where you do not currently have regular contributions and have not had them in the last 12 months.
How long does the promotion last and what does it involve?
How long does the promotion last? Once activated, the 5%-2% regular investment promotion lasts for 24 months.
What does the bonus reward? During these 24 months, Bankinter rewards the net accumulated balance of the regular investments and purchases by the customer since activating the promotion in investment funds, pension plans, EPSVs, PIASs and equities associated with a Salary Account, Pension Account, Professional Account, Non-salary Account, Youth Salary Account Tú y Yo Account, Broker Account or Bankinter current account.
How is the net accumulated balance calculated? The net accumulated balance is the sum of the customer's regular investments and purchases in investment funds, pension plans, PIASs, EPSVs and equities, subtracting redemptions from investment funds with regular investments and external transfers of investment funds, pension plans, EPSVs and PIASs, and sales of equities with regular investments/purchases. The calculation does not consider any gains or losses resulting from market movements.
How much is the bonus? How often?
When the requirements are met, the bonus will be:
- Discount: 5% in the first year and 2% in the second year.
- The maximum bonus-bearing balance is €1,000. The bonus will be 0% on the net accumulated balance in excess of this amount.
- Settlement: monthly (last business day of each month).
- What do you have to do to receive the bonus? Every month, the customer must make a minimum regular investment of at least €50 from their Salary Account, Pension Account, Professional Account, Non-salary Account, Youth Salary Account Tú y Yo Account, Broker Account or Bankinter current account in an associated investment fund, pension plan, EPSV or PIAS, or buy at least €250 of equities in regular purchases.
- During the 24 months of the 5%-2% regular investment promotion, the customer will receive this bonus in their Salary Account, Pension Account, Professional Account, Non-salary Account, Youth Salary Account, Tú y Yo Account, Broker Account or Bankinter current account for the promotion, in each month when they meet the minimum investment requirement. The remuneration will be 0% in months when they don't meet this condition.
- After 24 months, the bonus will be 0%.
Other questions:
- Each monthly settlement will be subject to tax withholdings as capital gains under prevailing tax regulations.
- This promotion can be activated once for a Salary Account, Pension Account, Professional Account, Non-salary Account, Youth Salary Account Tú y Yo Account, Broker Account or Bankinter current account, irrespective of whether it has received any other bonuses.
- The promotion requires a minimum regular investment of €50 (or €250 for equity purchases). Once activated, the customer must invest at least €50 (or €250 for equity purchases) every month to benefit from the promotion.

How the promotion works, example. The following table shows what would happen in six different months depending on the net regular investments in that month and the net accumulated balance. The only change in year 2 (from month 13) is that the bonus is 2%.

Which products does the promotion include?

Are my current regular investments included?
No. The promotion only covers holders who don't currently have regular investment plans, for each product type, and who have not had such plans in the last 12 months.
If I am already making regular investments in a product, such as a pension plan, will I benefit from the promotion if I make regular investments in another product, such as investment funds, and meet the conditions?
Yes. In this case the promotion considers regular investments in investment funds, and also PIASs and equities, if they are made in the 24-month promotion period and meet the other requirements.
How is the net value of the regular investments calculated?
The bonus will be paid on the sum of the regular investments in investment funds, pension plans, EPSVs, PIASs and equities, subtracting redemptions from investment funds with regular investments and external transfers of investment funds, pension plans, EPSVs, PIASs and equities with regular investments. The calculation does not consider any gains or losses resulting from market movements.
Does the promotion end if I don't make regular investments in a month?
No. But any months when you don't make regular investments, or when these don't meet the requirements, are not included in the eligible balance.
Which current account are the bonuses credited to?
The bonuses are credited to the account from which you ordered the regular investment and activated the promotion. This must be a Salary Account, Professional Account, Pension Account, Non-salary Account, Youth Salary Account, Tu y Yo Account, Broker Account or Bankinter current account.
