5% interest-bearing accounts: for new and existing customers who have not held a Salary/Pension/Professional/Non-Salary/Youth Salary Account in the 12 months before opening this new account and who must have never received remuneration for any of these accounts.
A customer can only be the holder of a single 5% interest-bearing account and a maximum of two Salary/Youth Salary, Pension, Business and Non-Salary Accounts.
To access and maintain the benefits of the 5% remunerated accounts, the following requirements must be met:
In the case of the Salary/Business Account, the customer must have the salary (amounting to at least €800 per month) paid into the account, pay three direct debits per quarter and make three payments per quarter with the card linked to the account.
In the case of the Pension Account, the customer must set up a direct debit for the pension for a minimum amount of €800 and at least 3 bills per quarter.
In the case of the Non-Salary Account, the customer must spend at least €3,000 per year with the card(s) linked to the account and have at least 10 bills/quarter.
Maximum interest-bearing balance: €10,000. 1st year TIN 4.94% (5% APR). 2nd year: TIN 1.99% (2% APR). Semi-annual settlement. Example for a daily balance of €10,000 in a salary account, calculated for an interest payment period of 180 days (gross remuneration): First six-month period €243.62, second six-month period €243.62, third six-month period €98.14, fourth six-month period €98.14.
Youth Salary Account: For new clients or existing clients between 18 and 30 years of age who are not or have not been holders of a payroll/pension/professional/non-payroll/youth payroll account during the 12 months prior to contracting and who have not received remuneration for any of these accounts.
To access and maintain the benefits of the Youth Salary Account, customers must have their salary paid into the account for a minimum amount of €500 per month and make 3 payments per quarter with the card(s) associated with the account.
Maximum interest-bearing balance: €6,000. First year NIR 4.94% (AER 5%). 2nd year: NIR 1.99% (AER 2%). Semi-annual settlement. Example for a daily balance of €6,000 in a salary account, calculated for an interest payment period of 180 days (gross remuneration): First six-month period €146.17, second six-month period €146.17, third six-month period €58.88, fourth six-month period €58.88.
