Can I change the periodicity of annuity benefits once I am receiving them?
An annuity is a life-savings insurance that guarantees you a regular and fixed income for life, transforming your savings into a stable, known and permanent income that will give you peace of mind about maintaining your standard of living alongside the state retirement pension you are going to receive. One of its main advantages is that it enjoys excellent taxation, especially if the person taking it out is over 66 years old.
You will be able to choose whether you wish to receive this annuity on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis, but once an annuity is constituted, it is not possible to change the frequency of the annuities.
