What does access to the United States Hospital Network health insurance cover?
This coverage includes the reimbursement of expenses for the treatment of the Insured hospitalised in the USA if, as a result of the coverage of the “Second International Diagnosis”, it becomes necessary for the Insured to undergo treatment covered by the policy in one of the Services Arranged by the Insurer in the USA, included in the current Medical Care Guide, covering only the reimbursement to the Insured of 60% of the medical and hospital expenses arising on the occasion of such treatment corresponding to medical acts or care during hospitalisation covered by the policy and up to the limit for each of them stated in the General and/or Particular Conditions.
This coverage only covers the treatment of illnesses or injuries covered by the policy that have been diagnosed in Spain and for which the Insured has requested the “Second International Diagnosis” covered by the same. Under no circumstances is hospitalisation that the Insured may require for any reason during a stay, trip or journey to the USA covered. United States.
Likewise, any expenses incurred by transportation, whether by ordinary or medical means, expenses incurred by accompanying persons and those arising from the use of assistance services, such as interpreters, are not covered.
