What is a PERTE?

Strategic projects for economic recovery and transformation (PERTEs). These are large-scale strategic projects that require collaboration between administrations, companies and research centres. This figure has been specifically designed for high-priority, complex projects or those in which private initiative is lacking.

Examples of PERTEs approved by the Council of Ministers:

• PERTE for the development of electric and connected vehicles.
• PERTE for state-of-the-art healthcare.
• PERTE for renewable energies, renewable hydrogen and storage.
• PERTE for agrifood.
