How do I open a Salary Account?
Opening a Salary Account is easy. You can do it online right here. Or if you prefer, you can use a different channel such as visiting a branch, requesting a messenger, recording a video selfie to identify yourself... Whatever channel you choose, we'll be there at your side to help you every step of the way.
Once you've registered as a customer and opened your Salary Account, you have three months to deposit your first salary. If you don't meet this deadline, the account will no longer be classed as a Salary Account and will become a standard current account, without any of the special perks and products that come with the Salary Account.
How do I change my direct debits?
No problem! At Bankinter we have the direct debit management service. you can transfer all your bills from the comfort of your home in less than three minutes, all without having to visit a branch.
Will you accept any transfer as my salary?
No, sorry, that's not possible. We define a salary as monthly income received by cheque or transfer from someone other than the account holder.
