Bankinter strengthens its Wealth Management offering with the launch of a new card

The Bank has expanded its range of payment methods for high-net-worth customers with a premium card that incorporates distinctive benefits for travel, services and experience.

The advantages include: 1% cashback on purchases, exclusive airport services, comprehensive travel assistance and accident insurance, etc.

Bankinter takes a new step forward in the reinforcement of its value proposition for Wealth Management customers with the launch of the Visa Infinite card, a new premium payment method designed to meet the needs and lifestyle of customers in both this segment and the upper end of its Retail Banking segment.

The new Visa Infinite joins the Wealth Management product range as a solution that significantly enhances the value proposition of traditional private banking cards, incorporating additional benefits linked to travel, exclusive services and cashbacks.

Until now, Bankinter's Wealth Management card offering was centred around the Visa Private Classic, Private Gold and Private Platinum cards—all with higher credit limits and insurance coverage than the Bank's traditional cards—as well as the President Club, which remains the most exclusive option for these customers.

The addition of the Visa Infinite represents a natural evolution, enabling the Bank to augment its range of private cards with a new offering that adds a distinctly superior experience to the usual benefits based on differential services, tangible advantages and a more complete value proposition.

These Visa Infinite benefits are designed for customers who especially value international mobility, travel convenience and distinctive services. They include:

- 1% cashback on purchases made throughout the year, with an annual maximum of 300 euros.
- Four free entries per year to airport premium lounges.

- Smart Delay service, which allows access to premium lounges, with up to three companions, in case of flight delays of at least one hour.

- Fast Track at airports, with four free entries per year (two per six-month period) at airports in Spain, Italy and Portugal.

- Access to the Visa Luxury Hotel Collection, a platform for booking high-end hotels with benefits such as room upgrades and late check-out.

- Accident insurance with coverage of up to 1.2 million euros, in addition to travel assistance coverage.

The Visa Infinite is a credit card with the end-of-month payment method that is now available for customers who meet the criteria established by the Bank.

The card will be free for the first year. From the second year onwards, it will have an annual fee of 135 euros, significantly lower than other premium cards in the sector. Furthermore, it will remain free for customers with an annual spend of more than 18,000 euros.

Although the card is primarily designed for Wealth Management customers, Bankinter has decided to extend its availability to a highly select group of high-value Retail Banking customers, thereby reinforcing the consistency of the Bank's offering in the most engaged segments.

As part of the strategy promoted by Bankinter's Payments area, the product has been created with a clear strategic focus. The Visa Infinite represents the first visible milestone in a broader evolution of the card portfolio, which will continue to develop over the coming months with the launch of new products that will redefine the Bank's global offering in this area.
