Bankinter launches the 'EcoReforma Loan' to boost energy efficiency in homes

Bankinter reinforces its commitment to sustainability and the energy transition with the launch of the 'EcoReforma Loan', a financial solution designed to make it easier for customers to carry out renovations that improve the energy efficiency of their homes. 

Through the new product, Bankinter offers customers the possibility of obtaining fast, sustainable and fully online access to financing for the renovations necessary to improve the energy efficiency of their home and reduce consumption. Possible uses of the loan include the replacement of electrical appliances, windows, insulation, aerothermal systems, boilers, solar panels and underfloor heating. 

The product includes an energy efficiency calculator, through both the website and app, providing customers with an easy and transparent way to estimate the cost of the renovation, available grants, energy savings and the increase in the property's value after the improvement. 

To access the calculator, customers simply have to register the property on the platform and then enter the data and consumption habits of the household. The tool delivers personalised results, including costs, grants and tax deductions (IBI, ICIO, IRPF), as well as the energy label before and after the renovation. 

Having carried out the calculation, customers will be able to access financing quickly and directly through the EcoReforma Loan, adjusting it to their needs. The financing is subject to analysis and approval by the Bank. 

To launch this service, Bankinter has partnered with Minsait, an Indra Group company that specialises in digital transformation consulting and information technology.
