Bankinter sets up ‘Trader Lab online’, with ETF training offered to advanced investors

The event, organised together with the DWS’ Xtrackers fund manager, will take place this evening in the Reina Sofía Art Museum and broadcast live via streaming.

Bankinter has organised a ‘Trader Lab online’ for this evening at 6.30 pm, on the topic of investing in exchange-traded funds (better known as ETFs). In this Trader Lab, all key aspects about this type of investment product will be discussed.

This training session is mainly for advanced investors with experience in finance. It will be held in the auditorium of the Reina Sofía Art Museum. It will so be retransmitted via live streaming for previously registered viewers on the bank’s channels.

Bankinter expects some 400 people to attend this event, and over 1,000 registered individuals to follow it online.

The event will address topics like the variety of these assets, the sectors and geographical areas in which they invest; various investment strategies: replicable indices, upward and downward trends, with and without leverage; and trading: real-time trades and risk management with stop orders.

The speakers at this training session will be Rafael Serrano, head of the equity business at Bankinter; Eduardo Bolinches, director and partner at Bolsacash; and Antonio Royo-Villanova, passive investment specialist for DWS Iberia.
