Bankinter launches new website with multi-device layout enhancing interaction with customers

The bank has updated its digital banking platform with a more personalised, interactive and easy-to-use system.

Bankinter analysed customer opinions and browsing experiences to incorporate new user and layout trends.

After several years unchanged, Bankinter’s website has an updated format with a new design, image, structure and set of functions to make browsing more intuitive for users, increasing interactivity and, overall, enhancing the customer experience.

Based on the latest market trends, the website’s main developments include a multi-device layout: a single virtual space with the same functions and features for all devices used to access it. It can be adapted to several types of computers, smartphones and tablets available in the market, in addition to any new versions of these that may be released in the future.

Another major development is the website’s increased interactivity, which facilitates communication between customers and Bankinter or even their account manager, providing better customer service and assistance.

New organisation

Bankinter has also restructured its website's content, dropping the traditional ‘tab’ format for browsing and creating a new layout based on for major categories containing the various products and services the bank offers. This will undoubtedly help customers to locate the options in which they are most interested. These categories are: ‘Accounts & Cards’, ‘Savings & Investment’, ‘Mortgages & Loans’ and ‘Insurance’.

The new on-line banking platform comes as a result of several months of pilot testing and analysing customer needs, as well as their own browsing experiences. Therefore, it provides all the improvements made during this time, based on suggestions from customers and Bankinter employees.
