Bankinter and Société Générale wrap up the first ‘Trader Lab’ for advanced investors

These free courses taught by Bankinter, together with the French financial institution, close out the first instalment of this new initiative in Madrid.

In Madrid, on 23 May, Bankinter and Société Générale held their fourth free ‘Trader Lab’, a course for advanced-level investors, which aims to help them brush up on their knowledge about trading in the market. With this event, both financial institutions wrapped up the first edition in this new educational initiative, initially launched on 30 March on the web as ‘Trader Lab On-line’ and followed by on-site courses held in A Coruña, Alicante, Zaragoza and, just recently, Madrid.

Through ‘Broker Bankinter’, the bank and Société Générale created these courses for customers and non-customers alike with an interest in trading. Overall, a total of 1,900 individuals have taken part in this Trader Lab initiative, both on-line and in classrooms.

On-site classes also have the novelty of a moderator specialised in the stock exchange: Ms Susana Criado, director of the programme, Capital, on the niche television network, Intereconomía. Ms Criado enlivens the course, inviting attendees to participate by asking questions.

The course is split up into three units, the first of which focuses on market methods and is run by Rafael Serrano, head of equities in Bankinter. The next unit, led by Eduardo Bolinches, executive and partner at Bolsacash, teaches participants about technical analysis. The final unit deals with listed products and is taught by Carlos García Rincón, head of listed products at Société Générale.

The on-line edition of this Trader Lab (Trader Lab On-line) will be accessible shortly to those interested in improving their knowledge about trading in the markets via the following link: https://traderlab.es/.
