Bankinter offers the first “Paga Cómodo” free until the end of the year.
This instalment payment service allows customers to finance any transaction charged in the last three months to any account of which they are the account holder.
Customers accessing the service for the first time will be able to finance in up to 12 instalments at 0% interest any expense or transaction charged to their account that exceeds 90 euros.
Bankinter has launched a promotional offer that will allow the Bank's customers who use its “Paga Cómodo” service for the first time to finance in up to 12 instalments at 0% interest any type of expense or transaction exceeding 90 euros, charged to any of their accounts in the last three months. This includes charges made both to accounts held by customers at Bankinter, as well as those held at other banks and included in the account aggregation service available on the Bankinter website.
The “Paga Cómodo” service launched by Bankinter in 2022, which revolutionised “buy now, pay later” solutions, allows customers to pay any account transaction in instalments: direct debits (insurance, schools, electricity, gas, etc.), Bizum payments, all kinds of transfers made, taxes, debit card transactions, ATM withdrawals and even card payments.
One of the most attractive features of this instalment payment service is that it is valid not only for expenses made at the time of the charge but also for those made up to three months prior, therefore offering a second chance to any payment decision and providing customers with complete flexibility over payments.
The process is very simple: customers simply select, through the app or website, the transaction they wish to finance and then choose the payment term, between 3 and 36 monthly instalments. The first transaction with Paga Cómodo qualifies for the 0% interest promotion for up to 12 instalments. After that, the system transparently displays the instalment to be paid, calculated as a fixed instalment based on the amount and the number of months chosen. The credit is made to the current account instantly.
In short, this is a financial proposal tailored to each customer that goes beyond the usual expense financing solutions typically limited to card purchases at the time of the transaction.
The offer of the first “Paga Cómodo” free will be valid until 31 December, therefore coinciding with the Christmas campaign to allow customers to recover their expenses easily and conveniently so they can reuse the money for whatever they want.
