Bankinter expands its campaign for fee-free ETF purchases and introduces discounts for periodic investment

The Bank has renewed its alliance with prestigious international asset managers until 30 October to offer ETFs without purchase fees, adding Vanguard as a new partner.

It has also launched free ETF training in partnership with BlackRock, DWS, Fidelity, J.P. Morgan Morgan Asset Management, PIMCO and WisdomTree.

Customers will be able to activate the new “Periodic ETF Purchases” feature, allowing them to automate their investment and unlock a discount on the minimum custody fee of the selected fund.

Bankinter is reinforcing its commitment to ETFs—exchange-traded funds—as part of its strategy to boost long-term savings through simple, efficient and accessible investment solutions.

With this aim, and building on the high level of interest shown by customers, the Bank has decided to extend until 30 October the fee-free ETF purchase campaign it launched last November in partnership with eight leading international asset managers: Amundi, BlackRock, DWS, Fidelity, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, VanEck and WisdomTree.

In an additional development, Vanguard now joins the asset managers whose ETFs are marketed within this initiative.

The Bankinter website lists all the ETFs included in the campaign, each accompanied by its identification data and detailed information about its characteristics, costs, currency and distribution frequency.

Another new feature is the launch of “Periodic ETF Purchases”, a functionality that allows customers to schedule automatic periodic contributions—to one or more ETFs—with complete flexibility and zero purchase fees. The aim is to provide a systematic, agile investment model adapted to the needs of each saver.

To encourage the use of this tool as a long-term savings method, Bankinter will apply a specific discount to customers who use the feature, eliminating the minimum 6 euros usually associated with the custody fee. This represents a direct reduction in costs for customers.

Free course in partnership with international asset managers

Alongside the campaign, Bankinter has launched a free ETF course as part of its commitment to promoting financial education and knowledge of the different investment options. The course has been developed in partnership with some of the leading asset managers on the international scene: BlackRock, DWS, Fidelity, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, PIMCO and WisdomTree.

The training consists of clear, practical content accessible from the Bank's digital channels and available in video and text format through the Bankinter Blog.

These initiatives reaffirm Bankinter's aim of promoting a more accessible, transparent and efficient investment model, in line with the trends that are shaping international markets at a time when ETFs are becoming an increasingly popular alternative for investors seeking diversification, cost efficiency and operational flexibility.
