Boosting customer acquisition

Revenues in the area increased by 5.35% and gross operating income hit 341.9 million euros, thanks to the boost in commercial activity, which resulted in an 8.95% rise in fees, up to 111.2 million euros. Pre-tax profit exceeded 195 million euros.

In 2024, the "Plan Empresas Remunerada" current account was launched for new customers. 3% the first year and 1.5% the second year, up to a maximum of 50,000 euros. Customers must remain a customer of Bankinter over a certain period of time, choosing the best alternative from one of seven options available and using a very simple tool.

For the first time, the Business area was the focus of an advertising campaign, designed to drive customer acquisition, taking advantage of the significant improvement in productivity resulting from the implementation of the Business Plan. These actions helped attract 14,936 new customers, representing a 25.7% increase over the previous year.
