Investor Relations

Resuming normal operations and more information about ESG criteria
The principles of equality, rigor and transparency inherent to the bank's culture and also required by regulators, have always guided Bankinter's relationship with its investors and analysts, to whom it provides relevant and quality information on the growth of the different businesses, as well as on new strategies, both by type of business and geography. In 2024, the actions developed in the area to comply with these commitments were as follows, among others:
- The quarterly meeting (in January, April, July and October) was maintained to present the Group's results to the investment community via webcast and teleconference. Between 150 and 200 financial analysts and institutional investors, both national and international, usually attend this type of meeting, and there is a Q&A session at the end.
- Bankinter attended the most important international conferences and seminars organised by brokerage firms and investment banks. It has, therefore, been possible to maintain direct and close contacts with all stakeholders (institutional investors, portfolio managers, financial analysts, and private bankers) to inform them about the Bank's performance.
- The usual formal meetings were also held online and/or in person (around 300) with institutional investors and financial analysts, both individually and in Groups, organised either by brokers or by the corporate access departments of the relevant institutions.
- In addition, visits or roadshows were held for current or potential investors in the various financial capitals of the world (New York, London, Paris, Dublin, Frankfurt, Geneva, Milan, etc.)
Information on sustainability
Investor Relations actively collaborates with the Sustainability area to disseminate the bank's metrics and strategies around environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria. The aim is to facilitate a uniform and clearly increasing flow of information to the different stakeholders.
In recognition of its good sustainability management, the Bank was included in both the European and global versions of the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the seventh consecutive year in 2024. Bankinter also appears as one of the most sustainable companies in Spain and in the financial sector on a global scale in various sustainability rankings, reports and indices prepared by specialised agencies and proxy advisors (firms that advise institutional investors on the management of voting at shareholders' meetings).
Bankinter's success in the field of ESG is due to the bank's historical commitment to and compliance with increasing regulatory requirements.
