Important advances in Portugal and Ireland

In 2024, the Universo joint venture became effective, owned equally by Bankinter Consumer Finance and the Portuguese financial group Sonae and which aims to be a leader in the Portuguese consumer credit market. The first loans began to be offered in January.

The Enjoy Aena card was launched during the summer, the result of an agreement with the Spanish airport operator. This is a fully online platform, in which customers choose how to pay, offering a 5% cashback on purchases made at airports and 2% on other purchases, provided they are made using the revolving deferred payment method.

Avant Money was established as a banking subsidiary in Ireland, expanding the business strategy in the country, which will include all types of financial products and services for retail customers.
