Bankinter to award 7,000 euros to the Primi-Bolsa contestant who guesses the six best performing shares in May

The bank is opening the fourth edition of this contest for stock market and equities enthusiasts.

Bankinter is launching the fourth annual Primi-Bolsa Bankinter contest for people interested in financial markets and equities investing. This contest on social media will award 7,000 euros to the contestant who guesses the six best performing shares on the IBEX 35 by the end of May.

This contest is open to Bankinter customers and non-customers alike. Contestants only need to visit Bankinter’s Facebook page or Twitter and enter the Primi-Bolsa tab. There participants can submit the six IBEX companies they predict will have the best stock performance (in percentages) during the month of May.

Contestants may participate until 31 April, at 23.59. To calculate return rates on shares, the closing prices stated on 30 April and on the last business day of May will be taken into account. After the closing price of all shares is verified, the contestant (or contestants) who guessed the six best-performing shares will be identified.

According to the legal disclaimer of the contest, in the event of a tie with more than one winner, the prize will be divvied up between all the winners. Furthermore, if there is no winning contestant, the prize will be added to the jackpot for the next edition of the contest.

To participate in this initiative, those interested need only to be users of one of the social networks mentioned above and of legal age. The contest platform allows contestants to share it for free and voluntarily with friends and family members, increasing the probability of winning.

Commitment to social media and the world of investment

With this contest, Bankinter continues its customer engagement and loyalty strategy for its following on social media, one of the largest on-line communities among Spanish banks. Bankinter leads Spanish banks on Twitter, with more than 50,000 followers and has a considerable community on Facebook, with over 100,000 fans.
