The Bankinter Energy Efficiency fund is among the most profitable in its category in 2023 with a gain of 24.3%

One of the investment funds linked to sustainability criteria that Bankinter offers, the Bankinter Energy Efficiency fund, which invests, within the scope of megatrends, in equities ​​linked to this efficiency, the electrification of the economy and Industrial automation, made a successful end to 2023. In the year just ended, it achieved a return of 24.33%, situating it at the top of the VDOS ranking for funds that invest in securities linked to environmental criteria.

The fund has a cumulative return of 85% over the last five years and assets of 38.3 million euros. Within its strategy, it invests primarily in utility sectors, renewables and industrial and technology companies.

This fund's return is 3.2 points higher than that of the benchmark MSCI World ESG Leaders Net Return index.

In 2021, the Bankinter Energy Efficiency fund achieved a return just shy of 50% at 49.09%. After a highly volatile 2022, which saw falls in the markets, the fund performed very well in 2023.

This fund is among the leaders within the category of products linked to ESG (environmental, social and governance) criteria, a range that Bankinter will continue to bolster within the bank.
