Bankinter launches new investment fund: 'Bankinter Índice Bolsa Española Garantizado II'

With totally guaranteed capital and additional returns linked to the performance of the Ibex 35 index.

Subscription to this guarantee fund, with a five-year maturity, will be open until 29 January or until the committed amount is reached.

Bankinter has started selling a new investment fund: 'Bankinter Índice Bolsa Española Garantizado II', which rounds out the offering of investment products of its manager, Bankinter Gestión de Activos (Bankinter Asset Management).

This fund guarantees 100% of initial capital (the value of the participation as at 30 January 2014) at a five-year term, plus 50% of any point-to-point revaluation of the Ibex 35 index between 30 January 2014 and 21 January 2019.

The Fund is subject to an initial minimum subscription of €500. There is also a management fee of 0.3% until the start of the guarantee period and 1.15% for the remainder of the term; and a deposit commission of 0.10%.

The selling period of this fund (which charges no subscription commissions) will be open until 29 January, or until the committed amount is reached. Its maturity is 30 January 2019.

The 'Bankinter Índice Bolsa Española Garantizado II' fund is the re-guarantee of the previous 'Bankinter Euro Telecos Garantizado', which matured on 19 November last. In this regard, as well as being available to new investors, it is especially designed to avoid investors in the previous fund having to redeem their holdings in order to remain in a guaranteed fund.

The 'Bankinter Índice Bolsa Española Garantizado II' Fund is open to investors wishing to hold their investments for a medium-term horizon and who are interested in sharing in the possibilities of profitability of the Ibex 35 with a guarantee initial capital. The Fund also has cost-free monthly liquidity, since despite being a fund guaranteed at maturity, it will be possible to redeem early without commissions on the 2nd of every month starting on 2 March 2014 and until 2 January 2019, both dates inclusive.
