In 2022, Bankinter's Institutional Communications department has renewed the Bank's corporate website, one of the communication channels most used by its stakeholders (shareholders, potential investors, analysts, the media, customers, suppliers, etc.) to keep up to date with the Bank's activity. The objectives of the renewal project were to modernise the image of the website, refresh its contents, make the navigation panel more user-friendly and speed up the process of updating information. To this end, three distinct areas of work were pursued:
Technical tasks
The digital environment was adapted to the new design, effecting a massive migration of the contents from the old website (information, documentation, images, videos, etc.). The new environment is much more agile, intuitive and accessible, making navigation
Content and design
The content was adapted to the new design, in line with the sought image of digitisation and modernity. Meetings with the areas involved (Corporate Governance, Shareholders' Office, Investor Relations, Sustainability and People) helped to outline the characteristics of the content.
Analysis
The contents to be analysed were identified and the measurement map was designed according to cost/effectiveness criteria. In addition, priority was given to search engine optimisation (SEO) work to ensure effectiveness.
