Gross income rose 27%, not only as a result of higher interest rates but also thanks to the strong performance of fee and commission income, which grew by almost 12%. The year was particularly positive in fees generated by transactional business (+47.8%) and international business (+42.9%).
Pre-tax profit increased by 47.8% and contributed 124.3 million euro to the Bank's income statement.
In terms of lending, financing to medium-sized companies increased by almost 6% to well over 8 billion euro on average, enabling the Bank to gain market share over its competitors
