Bankinter strengthens its positions on sustainability indices, with its inclusion in the ESG Euronext Vigeo Eiris Eurozone 120 Index

Bankinter is now part of the ESG Euronext Vigeo Eiris Eurozona 120, Index, which features the 120 most sustainable companies in the Eurozone, and, as a result, has taken a step forward towards having its sustainability progress recognised.

This index is put together using the ratings given by V. E.,
Moody's ESG Solutions ESG rating agency-, which assesses progress based on environmental, social and good governance (ESG) criteria. After this assessment, it rated the bank's performance in these three areas as "robust".

Furthermore, V.E is associated with Euronext, the largest stock exchange in Europe.

Last year, the bank remained in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the third consecutive financial year, after another year in the European Dow Jones selective index, which features the most sustainable companies in the world.

Likewise, Bankinter has been present in the FTSE4Good index, since its launch year, and in the “Leadership” category with an “A-” grade in the CDP environmental rating.

Sustainability is one of the bank's strategic priorities, which it has developed over a number of decades through successive Sustainability plans, which have been rolled out along three lines of action: social, environmental and corporate governance.
