The increase in interest rates in 2023 enabled the launch of fixed-income investment products that were well received by customers. Seven funds were launched in the first quarter, with portfolio maturities ranging from one to three years, raising 891 million euros.
At the end of the year, Bankinter Asset Management expanded its range of premium funds with a short and medium-term fixed income product. This was very well received, attracting 770 million euros in just two months.
The good year for the international financial markets - for both equities and bonds - made it possible to recoup all the losses suffered in 2022 in many cases, particularly for higher risk products.
Total assets - including managed and advised products - grew by 17%, to 22,000 million euros.
