How to contract


Contracting for new Bankinter clients
To contract you must complete the following steps:
1. Please enter your personal details and accept the basic Bankinter.com contract
Upon completion of this step we will give you:
  • - Your account number.
  • - The access codes of the first holder for Bankinter.com and Banca Telefónica. Do not forget to save these codes in order to operate.
You will be able to print out the list of documents that you must send us or ask us to send it to you to your home address.
We will send you your code card, which will allow you to operate via the Internet or Telephone Banking service. It will be your electronic signature for all your web-based transactions.
For security reasons, your account will remain blocked (although you can make enquiries and deposits) And the code card deactivated until the correct receipt of the documents.
2. Please send the following documents
Residents:
  • - A photocopy of a document accrediting your identity (Spanish National ID/Tax ID Card, passport, residence card, etc.).
  • - The signature recognition and personal identification forms duly filled out.
  • - Document accrediting the professional activity of the holders and authorised persons.
    If you are employed Please provide a photocopy of one of these documents: last pay slip, work contract or company certificate.
    If you are self-employed we will need a photocopy of any of these documents: Social Security payment receipt for autonomous workers; VAT return; Personal Income Tax withholdings, quarterly or annual, accordingly.
    Accreditation is not required in the case of housewives, stockholders, pensioners, students or unemployed persons.
Non-residents in Spain:
  • - A photocopy of a document accrediting your identity (Spanish National ID/Tax ID Card, passport, etc.).
  • - The signature recognition and personal identification forms duly filled out.
  • - Tax Residence Certificate.
  • - And if you are a Spanish non-resident, a photocopy of the valid Legal Residence Certificate.
  • - Document accrediting the professional activity of the holders and authorised persons.
    If you are employed please provide a photocopy of one of these documents: last pay slip, work contract or company certificate.
    If you are self-employed we will need a photocopy of any of these documents: Social Security payment receipt for autonomous workers; VAT return; Personal Income Tax withholdings, quarterly or annual, accordingly.
    Accreditation is not required in the case of housewives, stockholders, pensioners, students or unemployed persons.
3. Confirmation of registration in Bankinter
Upon receipt of your documentation we will unblock your account and activate your code card.

Contracting for Bankinter clients
To contract you must complete the following steps:
1. Please enter your login codes
In order to open an account at Bankinter.com you require access codes, which will allow you to operate securely.
- If you are a Bankinter client and your codes are blocked or you have forgotten them, you can reactivate them using your P.A.C.(Personal Access Code).
- If you cannot remember your PAC (Telephone Banking Personal Access Code), necessary to reactivate the codes, you can request a new one.
- If you are a Bankinter client and have your Telephone Banking PAC but do not have your Internet access codes, please call the Particulares.com service on902 365 563, from 8 am to 12 midnight the year round (Spanish Mainland time).

- If you are a Bankinter client but do not have Telephone Banking or Internet access codes, please go to your Bankiner branch, where we will give you the necessary codes to operate at Bankinter.com.

2. Design your new account and enter the holders
When designing your account you can choose to:
  • - Direct deposit your salary, if you are employed.
  • - Deposit your monthly earnings, if you are self-employed.
  • - Request a Visa card.
  • - Request a cheque book.
  • - Account currency.
Upon completion of this step we will display the confirmation of your transaction on screen, together with the account contract, which you must return signed with a coordinate from your card code.
3. We will give you your new account number
Having reached this point, you can already perform transactions with your new account.
If you open a new account with new holders who are already Bankinter clients, the account will become blocked for security reasons, until you return the contract that we will send you duly signed by all the holders, authorised persons and/or guardians.Once we have received your documentation, your account shall become activated.
