The range of ESG-aligned products and services has been significantly expanded to support customers in their transformation and decarbonisation processes. In 2025, the target for reducing emissions in the corporate book was met, with a 15.6% reduction in emissions financed per million euros.

In 2025, Bankinter consolidated its profitable growth strategy, boosting commercial activity in all the geographies in which the bank operates and continuing to closely control risks and expenses.
In 2025, the Bankinter share registered a strong performance, yielding a total return of +93%, driven by 12% growth in dividends distributed during the year. The share price rose by 85.3%. The IBEX 35 gained 112.6% and the Euro Stoxx 600 Banks rose 66.9%.
The "You First" programme remains in place, which guarantees that shareholders receive priority communication and attention to their enquiries, in addition to ensuring compliance with the Securities Market Code of Conduct.
Under the regulations applicable at the consolidated level, Bankinter is required to maintain minimum capital ratios.
According to the supervisory assessment or 2025, Bankinter's risk profile remains stable compared with previous years. The entity remains in the Group of Spanish and European banks with the lowest Pillar 2 requirement, which stands at 1.30% in 2025, with a requirement of 1.50% applicable in 2026; this reflects the Group’s good risk profile and is one the five lowest requirements established by the ECB.
Bankinter's Wealth and Retail Banking business, which encompasses the business with individuals, once again demonstrated a solid and balanced performance in 2025. Pre-tax profit (PBT) was over 751 million euros (+0.4%).
Corporate & SME Banking has strengthened its competitive position, increasing its market share in lending to 6.6% in a demanding environment.
The good performance in 2025 was supported by a highly dynamic commercial activity, an increase in loan volumes and a strategy focused on specialisation, long-term customer relationships and disciplined risk and price management.
In an environment marked by sharp declines in interest rates, the area maintained a solid performance, supported by commercial activity, a dynamic international business and good risk performance. The Large Corporate Banking area posted record fees of 134 million euros (+2.62%) and loans increased to 17,750 million euros (+6.6%).
Bankinter Portugal continued to grow at a good pace in 2025, with a pre-tax profit of 209.7 million euros (+7.4%), gross operating income of 366.7 million euros (+5.9%) and operating profit of 247.0 million euros (+4.9%). This solid growth was accompanied by a positive performance in the cost-to-income ratio, which stood at 32.8%, while the NPL ratio was 1.44%, a controlled level consistent with the bank's risk profile. As for the contribution to gross operating income by business area, the Wealth and Retail Banking business accounted for 49%, Corporate & SME Banking accounted for 34% and Bankinter Consumer Finance accounted for 17%.
In 2025, Bankinter continued to follow a prudent and disciplined management path, aligned with its risk appetite framework, in a complex global environment. This management allowed the bank to combine organic growth with profitability, preserving a moderate risk profile and the financial stability of the Group. The risk management model, whose supervision corresponds to the Board of Directors, is aligned with international regulatory standards and best practices. The continued application of this model has proved to be effective for anticipating and managing the main risks faced by the entity.
In an increasingly dynamic and digital financial environment, innovation is a strategic pillar for Bankinter. In 2025, the bank implemented a decentralised yet collaborative cross-cutting innovation model that drives collaboration between its business areas and subsidiaries, improving processes and allowing initiatives with the greatest potential impact to be scaled up across the entire organisation. The Innovation department coordinates this approach, ensuring that innovative projects are integrated in a structured manner and generate shared value through operational and organisational synergies.

The Bankinter Innovation Foundation increased its activity in 2025 to promote the transformation of society through innovation, knowledge and talent, establishing itself as a platform of reference to anticipate future challenges and turn them into initiatives with a business, social and scientific impact, strengthening the connection between science and the market.
In 2025, Bankinter continued to implement improvements to its corporate governance system with the aim of strengthening transparency, efficiency and accountability within the organisation. These improvements seek to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to meet the expectations of stakeholders, maintaining Bankinter's position as a benchmark for good corporate governance.
