Bankinter to participate in the Financial Education Day, with over nine consecutive hours of finance lessons on YouTube

The Bankinter Broker aims to promote learning about markets and how they operate among those interested in investing.

Bankinter is celebrating this year’s Financial Education Day in a special way. Although the bank runs courses on investment throughout the year, the Bankinter Broker is preparing a special programme for this event on 7 October: nine consecutive hours of lessons on its YouTube channel.

This webinar aims to teach people interested in investing in the stock market about markets and trading.  Registration is free and can be done via the following link: https://elvalordelaformacion.com/b-agenda-b_798751147.html

This live event will commence with a brief general presentation by Marta Centeno, director of the Markets, Products and Corporate Development Division. She will be followed by Bankinter’s director of Analysis and Markets, Ramón Forcada, at the time stock markets open. Ramón Forcada will give an in-depth presentation on the current situation of major markets. Next, two more market analysis experts will conclude this unit talking about bonds and passive fund management.

Then, equities director, Rafael Serrano, will speak about Bankinter’s methodologies and investment formulas.

Furthermore, users following this broadcast will find more technical content, with four modules about trading that will discuss the importance of price, an ‘Introduction to technical analysis’ and a presentation on how to analyse charts. There will also be two additional units on the importance of data analysis and on ‘Efficient Investments’.

Moreover, another unit on the ‘Psychology of stock market investors’ will be given by Enrique Castellanos, head of stock market education at Instituto BME of BME Group. In addition, there will be a presentation on the ‘Broker Academy’ (Academia Bróker), a space run by the Bankinter Broker to teach about markets throughout the year.

The nine-hour live broadcast will end with a more specialised and didactic course on another alternative for investment: futures.

Every year, Bankinter Bróker runs various learning initiatives though the Broker Academy, Fórum Bolsa and TraderLab, where participation has been increasingly high.

Bankinter also organises other less specialised educational programmes such as the platform, "Money Town", launched by the bank as a tool for teachers and parents who are interested in teaching basic financial concepts.
