Bankinter successfully places an initial issue of 'non-preferred' senior debt to the value of EUR 750 million

The bonds issued, which have a 7-year maturity, were placed in just under three hours.

Bankinter managed to successfully place its first issue of 'non-preferred' senior debt on the market in just under three hours. The total issuance amounted to EUR 750 million and involved 7-year bonds with a margin of 95 bp above mid-swap, giving a return of 0.892%, which is below the initial indication.

The issue and payment date is set for 8 July this year and the maturity date for 8 July 2026. Demand doubled the amount offered. The debt was placed amongst 100 institutional investors, 80% of which are international.
