Bankinter launches VIP, a global proposal with benefits and discounts for small- and medium-sized enterprises

VIP (Very Important PYME) offers global solutions to facilitate business processes and administrative procedures while delivering significant savings based on the volume of transactions.

To support businesses, Bankinter is extending the VIP benefits to all SME customers until the end of the year, waiving the minimum payment and collection requirements to access the service.

Bankinter launches VIP (Very Important PYME), an exclusive space specifically designed for its small- and medium-sized enterprise customers, with global solutions to facilitate the general day-to-day running of the company, not just the financial aspects.

The purely financial benefits apply to a series of everyday products like accounts and cards, as well as services such as transfers, cheque deposits and SEPA direct debits, which are priced according to the company's volume of transactions. The more transactions carried out, the cheaper they are, and in some cases they are even free. The VIP service also include a POS terminal with no maintenance fee and a discount of 0.50% for customers who collect at least 12,500 euros through the terminal in the three months before each monthly review.

One of the main non-financial benefits is free over-the-phone legal advice for business-related matters: document checking, wording of important information, contracts, fine appeals, negotiations and legal assistance in certain lawsuits brought by third parties. Another benefit is the comprehensive accounting, fiscal, commercial and labour management service provided by KPMG Impulsa, an initiative to help companies run their business digitally and more efficiently, which is offered with a special discount on the usual price.

Through the new VIP service, Bankinter also offers its SME customers a unique broker for buying and selling 25 different currencies in real time, available 24/5, plus discounts of up to 10% on the first-year premium of life, multi-risk and civil liability insurance policies.

All of these benefits are available for corporate customers that collect at least 60,000 euros per quarter through any means other than cash, and that make payments through at least three of the following transactions per quarter: social security, taxes, two additional direct debits, payment of two salaries of more than 600 euros, debits by Bankinter Reverse Factoring, and international debits.

However, in view of the health crisis and the bank's support for businesses, SME customers will be able to access all of these VIP benefits until the end of year, even if they do not meet the usual minimum payment and collection requirements.
