Bankinter launches a partial guaranteed investment fund: "Bankinter Spanish Market"

The fund guarantees 100% of the appreciation of the Ibex 35 up to a maximum of 40% in a 5-year period. Should the index fall, the customer would sustain a maximum loss of 10%.

The subscription period for this fund will be open until 5 March, or until the amount committed to is reached.

Bankinter has begun marketing a new, partially guaranteed investment fund: ‘Bankinter Spanish Market FI’ rounds out the investment product offering of Bankinter Gestión de Activos (Bankinter Asset Management Agency).

The profitability of this partially guaranteed investment fund is linked to the evolution of the Ibex 35.

In this way, the fund aims to reach maturity at 5 years, 100% of initial capital (the subscribed value at the investment date, 6 March 2014), increased or decreased, as the case may be, by 100% of the variation experienced by the Ibex 35 index during that period. Gains are subject to an upper limit of 40% (maximum AER at a maturity of 6.96%), and losses to a lower limit of -10% (minimum AER at a maturity of -2.09%), which limits capital losses to a maximum of 10% in the worst case scenario.

The minimum initial subscription to the ‘Bankinter Spanish Market FI’ is €500. There is also a management fee of 0.3% up to and including 6 March 2014 and 1.15% from that date and a deposit commission of 0.10%.

The sales period free from subscription commission for this fund will be open until 5 March 2014, or until the amount committed to is reached. The fund matures on 5 March 2019.
