Bankinter increases the assets under management in its own investment funds despite the market effect and reaches 11 billion euros

The Bank captured 1.395 billion euros last year in funds managed by Bankinter Gestión de Activos.

The management company detects a greater interest in fixed-income funds like those in the buy-and-hold range, such as Bankinter Deuda Pública 2025 and Bankinter Horizonte 2024.

Bankinter ended 2022 with a very positive balance for its investment funds. The assets under management by Bankinter Gestión de Activos reached 11 billion euros, representing an increase of 3.7% in a complex market context like that of 2022.

Despite the market effect, which has reduced the value of assets, the Bank managed to increase its portfolio of own funds under management, with the Bankinter brand, thanks to sales efforts that resulted in an inflow of 1.395 billion euros in subscribed funds. Bankinter Gestión de Activos is one of the management companies that increased the volume of assets under management last year.

This year already looks set to reverse the trend of last year with an emerging demand for funds aimed at preserving capital and with a clear preference for fixed income, as both the Bank and the management company have detected. In this context, and within a strategy for conservative investors focused on buy and hold, the Bank is offering a range of funds designed by its management company Bankinter Gestión de Activos.

These products include two key funds: Bankinter Deuda Pública 2025, with a maturity of 33 months and a portfolio is focused on European sovereign bonds, mainly from Spain and Italy; and Bankinter Horizonte 2024, an option for investors looking for a shorter term for their investments (19 months) and good-quality European corporate debt.

They are joined by a wide range of funds from reputable third-party managers that are also marketed by Bankinter, a pioneering bank in the open architecture it launched more than a decade ago.
