Bankinter strengthens its position as one of the companies with the best reputation in Spain, according to the MERCO ranking.

Bankinter advances its reputation. This is reflected in the rankings of the XXIV Edition of MERCO Companies and Leaders 2024. The bank climbs two positions, reaching 35th place, within the ranking of corporate companies with the best reputation carried out by this consulting firm, which represents a very significant improvement and the biggest increase since 2022.

It is the fifth banking entity that gained the most positions this year. In addition, it is also the fifth most valued banking entity within the sector. All these data represent recognition of the bank's good reputational performance. At Bankinter, improving reputation has been and is an essential element in the management of intangibles.

Another notable fact is that the President of the company, María Dolores Dancausa, is the seventh business leader with the best reputation, according to the MERCO Leadership ranking that was published today. She also placed second among the most valued leaders in the banking sector.

María Dolores Dancausa entered the ranking of MERCO's most valued corporates leaders more than 12 years ago. She has been President of Bankinter since last March, after almost 14 years as chief executive officer of the company, a stage marked by the internationalisation of the bank, the continued boost of results, based on the organic growth, and the consolidation of fundamental parameters, such as solidity, profitability, and efficiency.
