Bankinter embraces AI by implementing Microsoft 365 Copilot into different areas across the Bank to explore how it can improve efficiency
About a year ago, Bankinter teamed up with Microsoft to implement the tech firm's generative AI solution, Microsoft 365 Copilot, in certain areas of the Bank with the aim of transforming the way employees work.
Copilot is an initiative to integrate advanced AI capabilities directly into the daily workflow through different Microsoft programs. The application will enable Bankinter employees to add both speed and efficiency to tasks that require information analysis and data extraction.
Copilot has multiple applications for the workplace, from simplifying administrative tasks to generating analytical insights. The solution will lead to time savings that can be translated into improved efficiency and applied to processes in different areas of the Bank, from those related to the business and information processing, such as retail banking, corporate banking and Bankinter Consumer Finance, to others associated with the legal field and regulatory compliance, through central services such as risk, data management and CRM as well as other areas that support the business.
Commitment to security and privacy
Copilot is being implemented with the highest commitment to data security and privacy. Microsoft and Bankinter are working in tandem to ensure that all operations comply with the strictest data protection regulations, thereby guaranteeing the trust of customers and employees.
Innovation is a characteristic that has always set Bankinter apart from its competitors, and the Bank was a pioneer in digital banking. Its recent integration of Microsoft 365 Copilot into selected internal processes reaffirms this strategy.
Microsoft believes that this collaboration with Bankinter is a true reflection of its mission to “empower every person and every organisation on the planet to achieve more”, since Copilot takes AI to the next level by integrating it seamlessly into the tools that people use every day in their tasks.
